How to apply for Ration Card in Maharashtra online
Step by step.
- Open the food website. Go to rcms.mahafood.gov.in (or mahafood.gov.in) and register / log in with your mobile.
- Choose what you need. Pick "New Ration Card", or a correction / add-a-member / split, as needed.
- Fill the family details. Add every family member and choose your card type by income — AAY and BPL are for lower incomes, APL for above the line.
- Add the papers (upload). Attach every member's Aadhaar, an address proof, an income proof, and a photo of the head of the family.All members' Aadhaar should be linked/seeded, or the card can get stuck.
- Send it to your office. Submit to your local Rationing / Tahsil office and note the application number.
- Track and collect. Follow the status; collect or download the card once approved.
